The team office for concentrated work
A spontaneous meeting in an open office
The Challenge
The challenge was to get various company departments to embrace the idea of a new work environment within a short period of time and to work together to develop an office concept for a modular building that was erected as a transitional solution. The new offices serve as a pilot and test situation for the newly emerging working world of Stromnetz Hamburg. A particular challenge was the different perceptions of the depiction of hierarchy in the space.

Our Solution
The most important criteria for the future working methods of SNH employees were worked out in consultation with the management and the department heads and documented with different working situations. These were integrated and formulated in a floor plan specified by the modular system. In coordination with the manufacturer of the building, the fixed structures were broken up. This created an office landscape for flexible project work, creative teamwork and concentrated focus work. As the client’s representative, we negotiated and defined the finishing qualities and coordinated the interfaces.
Interior Design
In a separate workshop, we developed the design concept for the future work environment of Stromnetz Hamburg.
