The Challenge
The Digital Agency Berlin acts as a central coordination hub for digitalization, supporting all businesses in Berlin. In the midst of the pandemic, the task was to develop a modern workspace for the DAB in a new space.
In addition to traditional meeting rooms and closed offices, a variety of flexible workspaces were required. Spaces for workshops, training sessions, and events, flexible workstations particularly for external and mobile employees, quiet areas for calls, and storage were essential for the new way of working and needed to be integrated into the space.

Our Solution
The flexible work settings are reflected in the large, open central zone, which, through appropriate zoning, provides space for various use scenarios. Acoustic curtains and mobile screens divide the area with just a few adjustments. Storage modules, including lockers, as well as a phone booth, act as room dividers and boundaries to traffic areas. The furniture itself is highly flexible. The Pixel wood cubes from Bene form a modular system from which everything, from seating tribunes to standing tables and benches, can be created by users themselves. Mobile plant boxes with storage elements, acting as dividers between workstations, are also part of this system. Additionally, there are rollable tables that can easily transform into whiteboards through a swiveling surface.

In the large conference room, all employees come together – both digitally and physically.

The small meeting room provides space for confidential discussions.
Das Interior Design
When conceptualizing the interior design, it was particularly important to make the identity of the Digital Agency Berlin clearly tangible within the space. The color scheme of blue and magenta tones in the fabrics and flooring in the kitchen hints at the DAB identity. The combination with warm wood tones combines the technical look with a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
