The Team Office is a space designed for five people. In this room, individuals can focus and enjoy a quiet environment, supported by a soothing green pastel color scheme.

The Challenge

Our task was to integrate an existing interior design concept into the newly rented space at Munich’s South Horizon. Within a tight schedule, we took responsibility for overseeing the site development with the landlord. It was crucial that the appearance of the new location seamlessly aligned with the client’s corporate design.

Large wall graphics in the open space areas bring a sense of connection to the location and variety. For example, here is the “Flaucher,” a section of the Isar River and a recreational area in Munich’s Obersendling district.

The open space areas were designed to ensure good work quality and acoustics, even in an open environment, by combining phone booths and sound-absorbing panels.

The Innovation Space serves as a central hub for the exchange of ideas and fosters maximum creativity. A color concept was developed to harmoniously integrate acoustic panels with the shapes and colors of the corporate identity.

Our Solution

We began work in May 2023, building upon the existing spatial concept.

We led the project, addressing both technical integration and the management of construction, as well as overseeing the interior design. With high speed and intensity, we completed the project on time and within budget.

Conferences, training sessions, and events take place in the Collaboration Space, which includes a small stage and a beautiful rooftop terrace. The round elements not only add color accents to the space but also have a highly effective acoustic function.
“Der Schauende” is a sculpture located in the Munich district of Obersendling and is also featured here in the colorful and welcoming community and kitchen area.
A cozy lounge area for informal communication is located at the edge of the rooftop terrace, offering a view of the Alps.

Interior Design

The guideline for our interior design was based on the corporate design colors of 1000 Satellites. The style of the graphics and the loose furniture concept were inspired by the first satellite offices in Mannheim.

In this project, the focus was on functionality. The various spaces were designed to be adaptable for different clients and guests and could be easily reconfigured for different uses.

The wall graphics were an integral part of the design, with each room clearly identified by a unique graphic with a regional reference or quote. The color scheme of the walls also followed the principle of accommodating different usage scenarios.

Each open space area features plenty of color and ample retreat options, such as a phone booth in this case.
The graphics reflect the satellite’s location — in this case, the Hellabrunn Zoo. The graphics and the round acoustic panels together form a image.
